While attending the University of Oklahoma, Monty was called to serve his country in the Middle East during Operations Southern Watch, Northern Watch, and Enduring Freedom—missions focused on combating terrorism and defending American interests abroad. He served in the United States Air Force Security Forces, known as “Defenders,” the military’s elite ground combat and law enforcement unit responsible for protecting high-value personnel and critical resources worldwide.

Monty was consistently deployed on global drug interdiction missions and played a critical role in several NATO peacekeeping efforts. He was attached to Joint Special Operations Task Force 1 (JSOTF-1) and JSOTF-2 during Operations Joint Guard and Joint Forge, serving in support of peacekeeping operations in Bosnia and later Kosovo. These NATO missions earned him several commendations, including the NATO Medal, in recognition of his dedication and performance in high-risk, multinational operations.

After his military service, Monty completed his BBA in International Business and Management at the University of Oklahoma, followed by an MBA in International Finance and International Business through a joint program with Oklahoma City University and Tianjin University of Finance & Economics in P.R. China. He launched his post-military career in Hong Kong as a Financial Manager, leading global strategy, investment oversight, and compliance for international organizations.

As a global corporate executive, Monty worked across continents, aligning resources, leading multicultural teams, and representing major companies on the world stage. He has lived and worked all over the world—but his greatest pride has always been being an American.

Now, Monty is ready to serve his country once again—this time in Washington, D.C.—by assisting President Trump in ushering in a new golden age for our nation. He’s not a politician. He’s a veteran.
